the best way to get the cvs out of the box is to use two large screwdrivers,put them between the back of the cvs and the gearbox ,what you are trying to do here is prise the cvs out of the gearbox! ........some force maybe needed here ,you can also use a crowbar (I have) but take care not to damage ...

Hi all , Colza is correct in saying that chopping your springs is illegal!
I have just had a quote from chamberlain suspension in christchurch (nz) to compress my standard springs.........$80.00 nzd and they are totaly legal!

Yes hadnt thought about getting the flywheel bolts out, but this could be a problem for a future owner! A few weeks ago i put a 5 speed box into an old pro T and noted it had the same problem and one of those exedy clutch plates fitted! I didnt need to do any grinding as someone had been there befor...

Hi all , Just a warning about those exedy clutches on trademe! In a word they are rubbish! And the problem is in the way they have been manufactured, because it would apear they have an inherant offset problem which causes the raised metal pieces in the clutch center to grind away at the flywheel bo...
