After market computer???
Hi I currently putting a T2 motor in to an 75 civic the motor has been fully rebuilt and i will be running a td04, I want to know what the best computer would be to run and if there is an ele dizzy that i can fit to a t2 so that i can remove the black box, Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to do a complete swap engine, gearbox, loom, comp, pedal box, gear shifters. Yes you will have greatly gained power over 25% so you will need a cert.

That may be so but how much does changing your oil cost ??? say $30 to $40.

One of the functions of oil is lubrication an another is to cool. Oil will always lubricate any temp, but when it gets to hot its stuffed. If the oil going into the turbo is cooler it can remove more heat from the turbo helping it run cooler. Putting oil thur a cooler will not make it fully cold be ...

All the blocks are the same and the piston are too.
The turbo and the intake manifold are the the only things they changed. The head is slightly diffrent with a small port where some Ex gas is let back in to the intake port on No. 4 i think. Heads and manifolds are able to be swaped.

Make sure you are runing the right spark plugs for the engine it sounds like your getting hot spots and killing the vavles.

With the new laws comin up in NZ it will be 1 option, A car must be not overly Modified from standard. The other option is to get a low volume vehicle cert plate. (L V V ) But they are both very costly. $400 for the cert, and i think round $300 to re-register.
