Got pics for anyone who is interested. Let me know whether you want the small pics (less than 1MB) or the medium sized ones (about 6MB).

Re: 1983 T2 FOR SALE
The rego is actually good until the 6th of October.
Should also mention that I have always put BP Ultimate (and lead replacement) in it since it got to Australia.

Hi everyone. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in Melbourne who is familiar with T2's and would have knowledge of part numbers etc.? My mechanic has never seen one before and I'm not keen on paying him 60 bucks an hour to match parts for me... He couldn't complete a full service because he couldn...

T2 imported from NZ to Australia
This is my experience bringing my 1983 T2 back from NZ to Australia with me. Obviously every car will be different and so could cost more or less than mine did. I have tried to list all costs here but no doubt I forgot one or two things so the real amount spent is probably a little higher than what'...

Re: Import Turbo II to Australia
I'm not sure what shocks were put in them, but I can probably find out if you like. I'll contact the mechanic that did it and get back to ya on that one.
They actually seem to make a bit of noise, like short creaking noises when I'm slowing down...is this normal?

I will try to list all costs here but no doubt I will forget one or two things so the real amount spent will probably be a little higher than what's written... Purchase price in $NZ.................$2000 Shipping/Insurance $NZ..............$1200 Customs ...

Re: Import Turbo II to Australia
Well here is my first report from Aussie. The car is with customs and for GST and duty I owe them $522.48 based on my (slightly understated) purchase price of $1800. Once that's paid it goes to quarantine who'll want to steam clean it and that'll be my next cost...
