time to rebuild the t1 clutch
last time we fitted a pressure plate and cltch plate from the early 1600 accord but it did not last any longer than the original t1 parts
suggestions for upgrade ? something with a higher clamping pressure and more aggressive material on the pressure plate .

Re: Diff Swappability
yes we stayed with the t1 flywheel to allow us to change gearboxes
I have never had a t1 and t2 box apart at the same time so am unsure if parts are interchangable
where does the t2 flywheel/clutch touch on a t1 g/box?

Re: Diff Swappability
I think what mark was saying was swap out the t1 or t2 box with one from an en , which are interchangable to change the diff by which I assume you mean the final drive you need to change the crownwheel and pinion the 4 speed pinion will definitely not fit , the 5 speed en pinion will fit in a t1 but...

Re: ZC motor in Series 1 Civic
I have done one.
it was a very tight fit and we had fouling problems between the chassis rail and the alternator.
I do not have photos on file but could get some .
It was in a circuit race car and the bulkhead was already moved back to accomodate twin dcoe webbers.

Re: Gen 1 auto to man conversion+turbo conversion
having had some experienece with repowering eb civics all i can say is do your homework first. a turbo repower is not as simple as it may first seem, particularly in regards to the wiring. once the power is doubled all the suspension and brakes really need upgrading and a lot of the parts need to be...
