You can also find the standard cam specs on the Tighe Cams site. I might be selling my cam which has a 946 grind on it if you are after one.

Unless you are running a bigger turbo and making a new manifold don't bother. If you are having boost control issues then grind out the internal wastegate a bit and use a decent controller and it should hold boost fine. As for the external gate with stock turbo, if you plan on using a screamer pipe ...

General rule of thumb for cooler piping - make the hot side the same size as the turbo outlet. And for the cool side it should be the same size as the TB. There is no real point going bigger as it won't flow any more.

Ahh, I meant low down in the rev range. You would get that sorta boost at what.. 3000rpm with the standard turbo? Can't remember, it's been too long since i drove the thing! :(

And full boost is pretty low down with the standard turbo so it's still going to sound horrible. Unless you're going for a bigger turbo with external wastegate don't bother.

You can use a VL turbo fuel pump, they are pretty easy to fit apparently. They run on unleaded, but prefer premium especially if you're running more boost.

Have you bled the coolant out of the little bleed nipple thing near the distributor? They tend to hunt if you have air trapped in the system, has happened to me before.

Compressor housing has VG4 on it and its a RHB51D whereas the T1 is a RHB51C or something like that. Not sure about the exhaust housing but i think it might be 12-r or y. I can check it out more tomorrow if you like.

Now where did you find those?! Some decent suspension would be a nice thing to have. Thats actually a T1 compressor housing you're holding there. What is stamped on the other turbo.. ihi RHB5xx? I just had my T1 and T2 turbos off and the T2 is definately larger. T2 turbo was a bit stuffed so i swapp...

My T2 has decided it wants to not start now too. From what you've described its probably the same problem. I've tested the main relay as per this guide and its fine. When you turn the key to the on position the fuel pump doesn't do anything and the ECU light just stays on instead of going off after ...

Tighe cams here in Brisbane did mine and they are pretty good. I got the 946 grind and it cost $240 to rebuild and grind it - the no.4 cvcc lobe was pretty much gone. They have profiles for the city turbos which are on their site: Tighe Cams

If it only does it when idling then it is probably your valve stem seals, or if its doing it when you're on boost then it most likely your turbo. It's really annoying sitting in traffic and suddenly you're surrounded by smoke!
