to check if fan is coming on citys have a thremo switch at the bottom of the radaitor,pull the wires off and join the two together with a bit of wire or something,this will make your fan go,if it doesnt your fan is stuffed,other thing to watch for is haveing a good thremostat in it as well,in my car...

all citys have the same bottom mount on the crossmember so cant see why you say it diffrent,yes there is diffrences between t1/t2 boxes (houseings esp) but if you have the matching flywheel ect from a doner you can swap it allover,what i said about a na gearbox will be dependnt on whee you are,here ...

heres some quick new pics of my car with new chrome wheels. heres the reason i chaged the gearbox,5th gear blew,and not knowing if berrings were damaged as well easyer to change box alltogether,yes the teeth that are ment to be one one of the gears in inbeded into the other one was diveing at 100kmh...

yeah i looked at boxes even had a t1 here to compare,should have taken pic but gone to dump now,but yeah the nz new city and t2 boxes are the same,mayby they mass produced them in japan and sold excess one to nz? who knows,but yea can confirm they do fit t2 citys provided you use t2 clutch/flywheel ...

not to shure on testing an injector but if im worng someone will ay so im shure,id put a screwdriver on the injector while the car is runing and see if its "ticking"/firing youll know the sound if you hear the sound on one of the other ones that do go ect,failing that swap it for another o...

can only be two things no fuel or no spark,if you have either a weak injector,sparkplug and or sparkplug lead you will have this loss,chuck a new set of leads+plugs on test you injector if you can,also check you dizzy cap as it may have a crack in it as well.
