Definitely worth the small amount of effort to get the right spark plug, particularly with the cvcc head. The main different with this plug is that the electrode is non-projecting, so the insulation doesn't go past the end of the thread. This is important as projection from the end of the plug will ...

WTB Rear Swaybar

For a Turbo 1, mine is bent ;-| was that way when I got the car, am investigating possible brokenness in rear suspension, but looks like the car got bushbashed over something and the swaybar got caught... Also the rear seems to sit low, am investigating, anyone got the height measurement of the rear...

furQ - check your fuel and for oil getting into intake side as this can cause the odd fouling you are seeing (one plug fouls up, so you stop to see and swap/clean the plugs, then drive till another plug gets fouled etc...) Check there isn't a turbo issue that became apparent after the turbo got dist...

Will try to get pics this weekend, we are aiming to fit a VG26 into my city, just need to sort out a dump pipe and the wastegate needs to be faced. Looks like extreme EGT caused the wastegate passage to become distorted, which is probably the cause for replacement, as IHI recommend ditching shagged ...

Ah yes, it very well could be, the Austin has the same firewall shape with the heater intake etc, but it's front wheel drive, and that car isn't, so, a mk1 or so cortina it is!

Compression figures are fine, city turbo runs 7.6:1 so should expect 120-140 psi. My dads turbo produces lots of white smoke after it warms up and this appears to be the turbo seals being shot. appears that the oil is being boiled in the exhaust housing and producing a white cloud (burnt oil is norm...

Hazer, Don't know about pistons, but I know it is hard to get genuine rings, however, the rings from a suzuki f10a engine will fit (Have to get compression ring slots turned out to 1.5 from 0.9mm) I don't know if you can get forged rings for a suzuki f10a?? Also, city already run 12psi, some forum m...

The ignition 1 and ignition 2 most likely refer to the On and Accessories wires in the ignition switch (In honda city is Black, with yellow lines (both the same)) If you aren't sure what to look for, pull off the tape and disconnect the turbo timer, then test the wires with a test lamp, see which is...

You can purchase a replacement housing, costs about $300.00. My dad has a similar problem, car begins to smoke after the oil warms up. The exhaust side of the housing can wear excessively if the oil isn't changed regularly, we are investigating to see if anyone does a sleeving kit for these, but not...

60kW at the wheels is up around 80hp, depending on loss through the system that could be anywhere up to about 140hp at the flywheel, or going the other way, your at around 80 hp at the wheels, up from about 66.

Which aint half bad!
