Re: 4wd City

Hey MUnity

20K on the R5 isn't bad, I found this one for sale here in NZ but they want 30K for it....  would be nice but don't think so.

Re: How to turbo a N/A honda city

Hi Murray

Have a look at http://www.cityturbo.com/cgi-bin/yabb/Y ... ;start=3#3

This is what I had to do to turbo my originally N/A Cabriolet.

Re: FS: Turbo 2 Convertable - Brisbane

Hey Fader Sounds like thats the same deal I had with mine.  I checked out the disc sizes tho and the disks on the cabriolet are bigger than those on the T1 so no point in swapping them but I did swap the sway bars and that has made it a lot better than what it was.  The suspension still needs a bit ...

Re: FS: Turbo 2 Convertable - Brisbane

And whats with the safety cert?  I've been told I've got to have mine certified for the extra power after the engine swap.  Does the same thing have to happen in Oz?  Maybe it has had a turbo dropped in there?

Re: Clutch

Hey Spartica

Give City Auto Spares over in town, or Strong Honda in Auckland (http://www.stronghonda.co.nz/) a try for a crank, they could probably do a clutch as well.

Re: To Tony

HiYa Crooky Yeah, I'm still running the standard airbox.  When I had the T1 engine dropped in there I had all the aircon stuff removed so I now have a big hole where the compressor was, which is where I plan to drop the pod filter, then I can use existing air intake from the left hand side and a duc...

Re: exhausts

Hi Crooky I'm running a 2 1/2 inch pipe straight off the turbo, no cat, just runs straight back, with a bit of a bend to run it down the side of the fuel tank and into a 90mm tipped straight through Autotechnica muffler, sounds cool (well I think so) not to loud but sounds really good at over 4000 r...

Re: high performance imports dvd

Oh yeah.....   I've got the coolest spot for drifting it every morning on the way to work, crossed up in second gear spinning up the front end, does it so easily, felt a little strange the first time but have got it mastered now, just can't help it really has gotta be done.

Re: BOV trouble

Hi city_boy/si I have a Racepro Type II BOV in my cabriolet/turbo.  Assuming you've got the same vaccuum advance unit as I have, there are two vaccum lines running into the advance unit, one closer to the bottom/fat part of the unit and one at the top on the smaller diameter section. Cut the line th...

Re: What fuel?

Gidday Pete I'll often run 91 octane for just cruisin around town and it seems fine.  If I'm doing a run up to Auckland or something, I'll make sure the tank is almost empty and run it on BP Ultimate, it does seem to make a difference, a fair bit crisper and more responsive. And your right, it has b...
