Hi Spartica
I'm in Tauranga and have been talking to a place in Hamilton about doing a custom front end for my cabriolet, it would probably be cheaper if we got a couple made up at the same time, let me know if your interested.
Cheers

Re: Big end bearing
Hi blitz
Are you sure thats what it is? Citys can be pretty good at destroying water pumps and a collapsed bearing in there can make some horrible noises. I'd be inclined to start with looking at smaller stuff like that before ripping the engine out and doing a rebuild.

Re: City differences
BUT.... as per the quoted Charles document, the T1 had a slightly higher top speed due to better aerodynamics (a slick brick?)....

Hi Andy
I'm running 195/60 15"s on my Cabriolet, it's a close fit but they go on. I had to have the inside of the guards rolled to stop them rubbing.

NZ (Nth Island) Cabriolet Wanted
Hi Guys
Well one Turbo Cabriolet just isn't enough so I'm now looking for a second one, so if anyone has or knows of any tidy Cabriolets for sale I'd be keen to know, the closer to Tauranga the better really.
Thanks

Re: Leg and foot room etc.
Hi Piripi
Shouldn't be a problem, I'm 5'10 and 90Kgs and don't find my cabriolet cramped. And surely a couple of extra inches can't make that much difference (yeah I know but resist the temptation!)

Yep, I've got a Cabriolet with a T1 engine in it (http://www.cityturbo.com/cars/tony/tony.htm)
Anyway I phoned one of the wreckers over here, he'll do a set of springs for $100 + gst

Re: Head Gaskets
Hi Stephen Yep, you can keep the existing CV's, we just pulled out the drive shafts, dropped the new motor in (well, that's the short version) and then slotted the drive shafts back in, keeping all the standard front suspension, CV's etc, the only suspension component changed was that I used the hea...

Hi T2
I know one of the wreckers over here in Tauranga has a few T1's, might be worth a try. Good idea buying an extra set for doing the lowering, might have to do that as well.
Cheers

Had a look at your website, nice, how long before we see a body kit for a Honda City?
