it is possible to remove it with the guard on, though not nearly as simple and easy as taking the guard off. You have to take out the plastic guard linings and basically squeeze your hand up in there and try and wriggle the motors out of the filter sockets then slide the bottle out... youll end up w...

WTB: Need a matching pair of front seats for my CITY
Hey, my front seats are basically dying... well drivers mostly.
The seat foam has split so you sink a little in the seat, plus it suffers the typical tearing and wearing.
Interested in any straight bolt in replacements from other hondas etc.
email [email protected] with any offers.

Re: Cam belt lower pulley bolt
hey, if you mean the harmonic balancer... the large pully that runs of the crankshaft then you'll need to more than likely impact (rattle) gun the bolt out. That bolt runs through the crank gear too. Using just a ratchet or socket on it, without impact will be a very tiring process more than likely ...

Gearbox oil to use?
Hey all, Quick question on recommendations for 5spd manual gearbox - which oil to use? Any one found a particular oil good? Ive got a leak from the outer seal where the right hand driveshaft goes into the gearbox, so figured since the levels getting a bit low, it could do with a change anyhows. I th...

Re: Engine Mounts
hehe, yeah, the ol' crc and hammer can be rather handy... take ya time with it, and remove the aircleaner, get ya leads out of the way etc etc. You'll find that their loctited from factory in pretty stiff, so if youre feeling gentle, try a breaker bar or similar, otherwise the hammer is a proven wea...

Re: Engine Mounts
hey, the engine won't fall out the bottom because there's a crossbrace running from the chassis to the front intrusion bar on the car. Its also held in at the LHS by another engine mount to the block. All that might happen is the engine will lean forward a bit but its no major issue. you'll need a 1...

Re: Engine Mounts
yeah sikaflex is the quick fix i used too... easy and straightforward.. the thing i've found is that it doesnt work for ages, mine has got that dull thud on take off and sometimes through gear changes or with blipping the throttle. the sikaflex can come apart after awhile itself, just heat and all.....

Re: rotational squeak with wheel speed.
hey, found the problem... ended up trying a process of elimination... changed the speedo cable, and found the squeek still there. even tried lubricating the old one first. changed the intrusment cluster over, and it basically fixed the squeek, so its within the actual speedo/odometer unit itself... ...

rotational squeak with wheel speed.
Hey, my NA CITY has developed a squeak that you only hear when the wheels are turning (including on the hoist and in neutral dragging the wheel). Its very high pitched, and can only be heard in the car... stand under or outside the car and you cannot hear it. Its like something has cocked or not lub...
