hey, im pretty sure in the gallery section, or through the infobase section you can access vacuum diagrams for city turbos...
i have a vacuum diagram for an NA carb'd city, which isnt available through the workhop manual if ya need. But i dont think itll be much help in a turbo'd case.

Re: idle hesitation & stalling
If i have to get another ignition coil, ive rang around and tried some online catalogues and there doesnt seem to be any listing for the Honda City ER1 motor. Does anyone know a part number for a suitable coil for a nonturbo City? My bet is that there isnt a genuine part available either, seeings ho...

idle hesitation & stalling
car = 85 Pro City NA ER1 1.2 carb 5 spd Ive managed to set up my idle-up for the air-con on my carby, thats okay now. But theres still some other things its doing now. I get a bit of a flatspot, almost like the engine chokes for a brief second if you give it w.o.t from idle in nuetral... the revs dr...

Re: Motor Swap
Yeah, i think your best bet is to try and source a city turbo engine/box or halfcut from a jap autowrecker and get it shipped. Im not sure if you have many jap auto wreckers in the states where you are, if so, then try and get them to source you one first. Dont be surprised if it proves a little bit...

Re: no idle up with air-con on
From what i can gather yeah, theres a little solenoid on the firewall that has a wire running into it and a vacuum line as well. The vacuum line runs to a little throttle nudger. The problem i've now got is working out how to use the throttle nudger screw to set the idle with a/c on as well as the i...

no idle up with air-con on
after rebuilding my pro city motor (er1 atmo) i bolted on a fresher looking carby from a wrecked city i have, which was not fitted with aircon. My city has air con, and im wondering if theres a problem with the carby ive just put on not being setup for an air-con'd city. Every time i switch the air-...

Re: Need more Torque~
more stroke = more torque
that could be a worthwhile project!
other than that, theres not a lot you can do with such a small capacity not to mention turbo'd engine.

Should a vacuum advance unit on a Pro City hold?
Should the vac advance unit on the distributor hold vacuum if pumped up with a mighty-vac or hand pump unit? Or should it just recede as you pump it up.
I have two units and im not sure if they're both faulty or both okay.

Re: How can I get timing belt for 1984 City Turbo?
City Turbo's were only sold in Japan im pretty sure. Everywhere else theyre imports. If you need other parts, there's plenty of places in Australia that have second hand parts, it'd be a matter of ringing around and then organising shipping over to the US. Always worth trying on here if you need par...

Re: How can I get timing belt for 1984 City Turbo?
Depends where abouts you are... If youre in Australia then any autoparts retailer should be able to supply you with a timing belt kit or timing belt. Just ring up Bursons or Repco or look up the DAYCO web site (google it) and find the part number through the online catalogue. Im pretty sure that the...

Need a vacuum diagram for a non turbo ER1 85 city 1231cc engine.

Re: honda city pro t distributor?
yeah, i might have to do that... the problem with that is that being so old, so many of them are cracked around the electrodes and no better than mine.
Ill do that as a last resort though i think.

honda city pro t distributor?
Anyone know where i can get a distributor cap for a City Pro T NA Er motor? Mines cracked and not looking too healthy... Bursons, Repco and most other autoparts stores dont have one of the screw down types for the NA city, only the clip top ones for turbo models. Honda have discontinued them... Is i...

Re: Setting Up Cam Timing on a PRO T
thanks, the cam timing is not that hard to work out, i lined up the grooved mark on the cam pulley with the arrow on the head. Its the crank thats more confusing, because that little hole you look through shows a white |- Â shape and then a little bit further round and theres some other marks and one...
