For anyone who's done it, can you tell me which is the mark for TDC no.1 cylinder on the crank? Looking through the inspection hole...

What wheels are these from?
Anyone know what model these wheels are from? I bought them when they were on another City Pro T, but im pretty sure they're not Aus-spec City 13's. I have a feeling they're from a Turbo or Cabriolet City. Any confirmation, correction, appreciated. Thanks! http://www.cityturbo.com/gallery/albums/Tr...

Necessary to replace head studs on NA motor?
Im almost finishing rebuilding my NA 1.2 ER motor, with new bearings, rings, reco'd & strength tested pistons, reco'd head. All new gaskets etc. Ive searched a bit and a lot of people talk about getting stud and bolt/nut sets made up for their turbo motors. How necessary is this for an NA ER eng...

Exhaust Manifold Swappability?
Can a City turbo exhaust manifold bolt up to an NA carby City to adapt a City turbo's turbo to an atmo City? Or would it require custom manifold?

Re: All For A Carby
Well, just for anyone interested, i got my engine and all the parts back. Turns out they were able to clean up the pistons and they tested them for hardness and cracks all round and they look like they will be reusable, with all new rings, bearings and seals/gaskets. They machined the blockface and ...

Re: All For A Carby
hey, its a stanard NA 1231cc city engine. The head's getting fully reconditioned at the moment so i know that everythings okay before it gets put back together. Im pretty confident that water wasnt getting into any of the cylinders, especially since if water was in there the likely hood would have b...

All For A Carby
Just thought i'd share some battle scars, after i attempted a carby swap over after rebuilding a spare carby i bought for my 85 NA city 1.2L. I mustve dropped a washer into the inlet manifold in the process, and unfortunatly paid the high price, for when i cranked her over i had a horrible knocking ...

Re: Top speed of the T2
when my NA city pro t was on the road, standard i had it up to about 135km/h in 5th at about 4grand... I fairly started to run out of road though and 5th gear has pretty much no acceleration... ive later heard that you get a higher top speed in 4th. also, remember the torque factor of such a low cap...

Port Matching!?
hey, my NA CITY's engine is in pieces at the moment due to some mistake learning on my behalf (dropped a washer or nut into the inlet manifold and it shrapneled in no. 1 and 3 and welded itself to the combustion chamber then imprinted the piston surfaces...) But yeah, rebuilding it at the moment rig...
