Hi Dean,
most parts are pending payment.

What is left are the Rings, the thrust bearings/washers and the BOV.

If the other buyers fall through i will give you a buzz. Or if you are interested in the remaining parts, send me a PM.
cheers

FS: Turbo 2 engine rebuild parts + some other items

For sale are all the parts I acquired for my turbo engine rebuild (which is no longer going ahead). Quite a few of these of these parts were the last ones available in Australia or are special order. Most parts I purchased for trade price through contacts, so prices are either the price I paid or sl...

unfortunately in my state, when you go to reregister a car, you have to get an inspection, and what they specifically do is check the VIN and the block code. even if i got a new block there are the risks i have already outlined. Basically i have almost ditched this project numerous times in the past...

i know that is an option.. but using them, it would be around 4k on top.

I could source another block, but i am already on my 2nd block atm, how do i know all the effort acquiring stripping, waiting for inspection.. that it wont turn out the same...

Probably time to cut my losses

Cheers guys.. But i think it is best to end it. There were a lot of issues concerning me in the past, like unknown gearbox condition, condition of everything else in the car, registering it in a new state with a dif block, reliability etc. This has been the final nail in the coffin. So i will most l...

VERY BAD NEWS Machinist contacted me, the 2nd block i provided is screwed in terms of cylinder walls. Said i would need larger pistons or else it would be noisy and smokey. Obviously pistons arent obtainable or viable, finding a block is very hard and risky etc. Then i have ? on the gearbox and oth...

But i am not too fussed, just wanna seal all my rust removal work. http://i29.tinypic.com/abs7tk.jpg got a replacement dash as well from a very generous fellow forum...

Diameter of turbo waterpump blades

I have heard some people express that they think the turbo and NA water pumps are different.

I have a new NA pump here.. just wondering if anyone has a turbo model waterpump and could measure the diameter of blades?

ended up taking off the boot and taking it to autobarn the closest they had in stock was a Kelpro SRB-042 (so there might actually be one that is perfect size if you could compare).. but this one was the same size, just longer by around 30mm than the one that was originally on there.. so it just sit...

steering boot replacement.

Is it possible to obtain a specific steering rack boot from honda or an aftermarket?

Are all city's racks the same? Or should i just go for a total generic?

Is any relubrication required when changing the boot?

seeming as though my car is stripped out, and there is minor rust here and there under the carpet. I thought might as well remove the deadener while i am at it. Went and bought some dry ice, which is a well known method for deadener removal. Basically the deadener just contracts due to the cold and ...
