Re: wiring diagam wanted

Hiya, Welcome to the site! ;D Instead of a turbo donk for the 4WD, I thought about using the complete drivetrain in the City. May still have to look at it if traction is a major struggle!  ;) Is that a wiring diagram for the Shuttle or the City you're after? Very keen to see how you go and wish you ...

Re: whos crashed a city?

Man, that sounds a bit lucky!  ;)
Maybe you should look at making it  a dirt track racer!! ;D There's an early CRX that does pretty well over here and a turbo'd Prelude that goes real hard!!  ;D
May need to modify the guards to fit the Hoosiers though!!  ;D

Re: Honda City 1988 (D12A engine)

Hey guys,
An interesting topic. Thought I'd move it to general stuff though, not the For Sale board where it was. This way there might be a few more guys able to help.  ;)
Doesn't look like anyone's selling anything.
Hope Charles can help you on it anyway Netobrand.

Re: Injectors

I think if you're going to go to that level, you're probably best dumping the whole OEM intake and do a purpose built job!  That way you can mount whatever injectors you want as mains and not have to worry about trying to squeeze something else in as a secondary to give it enough fuel. Sorting out t...

Re: T04 Boostin' Hard!!!

Excellent work guys!  ;D
How much boost are you going to run assuming it gets enough gas through? Should be much better with 1800 EK block. There'll be some very nervous Skylines out there soon eh! ;)

Re: Replacing Turbo----Removing Engine?

OK, as we're on the subject of clutches, I can feel a job coming up on my T2. Did the gasket and had to plane the head a wee bit. All going great and making more power than before. I'm likin' it ;D, but the clutch isn't! :-/
The in-place with a wobble techique is sounding real good!!  ;)

Re: Head gasket

Yeah Crooky, Go for the whole head gasket set. Got one for my T2 from Butlers Autos (Chch NZ) for $215.00. It looks like it was for a T1 though as the intake manifold gaskets are smaller. Everything else fits OK. ;D I'll give you a part number if that'll help. Ah, soo good to have mine on the road a...

Re: Stuffed head or gasket

Got the gasket set from Butlers Auto Spares - Chch. ($215.00) Repco could also supply one at $260.00 Head needed a bit of work and is now ready to be put back on. Yo doggystyle, Cam mentioned the hassles with yours! Seemed to be  better idea, but took a few nights to do it due to needing a new 12 si...

Re: Lowering

Yep, it's legal and has all been certified. Needs to be done by someone with current welding certs though. Go the Turbo Tech boss!  ;D I'll get some pics showing a bit more detail but here's the back strut. You can just make out the shock sitting close to the inside of the rim (was 14s - going to 15...

Re: Stirling engine

Yep heard much the same thing as I started to look at for my car. Gains are not worth the hassle and the power needed to drive the compressor. Also creates a lot of condensation in the intercooler, and makes it's way into the engine as unpredictable water injection! :-/

Re: Lowering

Yep, that's what I did on the front of the T3.
Basically shifted the mounting points and pushed the whole thing up. Got me 45mm closer to the deck on the front!  ;)
Seems to work OK.  ;D

Re: SCREAMER

Although my RHB52 has in internal wastegate, I'm using a tricky dump pipe back to the main exhaust. Looks like this; http://www.cityturbo.com/gallery/albums/album10/DumpPipe2.jpg http://www.cityturbo.com/gallery/albums/album10/DumpPipe3.jpg All ceramic coated too! Should flow pretty well.  ;D Pete 8)
