Re: Finally Shockies Found for City

Im not sure if anyone is interested but I have a set of shocks and springs off a T2 for sale. They seem in good condition all round. There is also a set of shocks that came with the car (in the boot) I have a feeling they are off a City E, are they the same?

Re: Heavy duty clutch?

Hmmmm, a while back I picked up a Saico HD sintered bronze puck clutch for my T2 engine from a place in Auckland. Im not sure how it runs (not in yet) but it has to be better than the N/A city clutch thats in there now. Does anyone know how the sintered bronze ia going to differ from a brass puck?

Re: Insurance

For a '80 Civic with a T2 engine insured in my dads name with me (under 25 male one previous claim) as a listed driver was $290 a year for third party with unlimited modifications as long as i old them about it. That was with National Auto Club in NZ ;D Good enough for me!

Re: City 2 Vs Skyline

Just out of interest, aren't "Big Bores" suposed to be bolt on larger exhaust upgrades for cars. The ones you buy as a whole unit ie. extractor, all pipe bent up and welded, and of course the "big shiny muf". As oposed to buying it all seperate and making it yourself?

Re: Honda City: Semi auto transmission

Im guessing this is the almighty HONDAMATIC??? My Civic came with the 2-speed version (essentially a clutchless manual) Drive has terrible acceleration and Low has only very slightly less terrible accelleration. I have been told that they take quite a beating without taking much damage, but after dr...
