Re: Fuel cut

Stuck wastegate would be my guess.  I had the same problem with my T1, as long as you keep your foot off it when it gets up in the revs it will still boost fine and you won't get the cut.  Happens mostly because alot of these cars have been owned by grannies with no boost bug so when we get them the...

Re: new site control

Hey guys.  It's up to Brendan how much he uses this functionality.  We've just recently setup this hosting system for our webfarm and currently have around 300 sites hosted on 2 servers.  Data allocation is based on the plans they are assigned ranging from 100M to 600M and bandwidth allocation rangi...

Re: CV Joint

I would have to doubt the validity of that statement... (don't shoot me) Explanation:  T1 and T2 wheelbase are slightly different widths.  I know this because when i came to replace a steering rack end i got one for a T1 and it was about 1" too short, therefore it's probably safe to assume that...

Re: temp gauge high

Yeah like colza said...

I've got no radiator fan on mine and it gets up to about half way at max. (don't ask about the fan ;))

Mostly i've seen this when the radiator is blocked or the head gasket is going.

Re: shock absorbers

Qiklude had sourced some from Auckland i think.  They were going to have to be custom made koni's that were fully adjustable. I'm pretty sure that there was some talk of a bulk deal on them, otherwise they were going to be about $300nzd per corner. Otherwise your only other choice is second had from...

cityturbo.com downtime

Hey again all, it's your friendly webmaster / cityturbo nutter. Today cityturbo.com was migrated to a new server cluster with massive potential and power.  If anyone notices any downtime in the site in the next day or two it's because of the DNS migration time and the fact i took down the old site t...

Re: Aftermarket computer idea...

I thought that the CVCC air fuel mixture was controlled by a rising rate fuel regulator?  If not then why not give it a try like this.  The theory goes that you only have to increase the fuel pressure with the air pressure while maintaining the same pulse frequency.  The link computer or whatever co...

Re: Aftermarket computer idea...

How do we find out the pulse width, frequency, voltage etc?  I guess an osciliscope would come in handy here...

Sounds good but not cheep...

How bout this for an idea...  Weld up your CVCC valves and forget about them ;)

Re: PVC for Intercooler piping

Just beer in mind that if you're going to go cheap with the pipe bending you'll probably regret it. I went cheap and opted for press bent inlet pipe for my pod and basically ended up with a 1.5" steel tube that pressed into < 1" in places.  Not good for air flow.  You can sometimes get che...
