friendly engineer?!

Hey all, My Turbo II has arrived here in Melbourne from NZ and will be clearing customs in a week or two. I will then have to take it to an engineer and have whatever needs to be done so that it meets Aussie standards (ADR's) before I can register it. My question is can anyone recommend me an engine...

Re: Import Turbo II to Australia

Well thanks to everyone who responded, between this forum and one other I have a fair idea what to expect. The car leaves here Thursday week and I won't see it until 4-6 weeks after that. I am bringing mine in a container with the rest of my household stuff so it's not costing any extra but the cheapest quote to ship it by itself was $1900 so probably not worth it for most people. A...

Import Turbo II to Australia

Hello all! I am currently living in little old Picton, NZ but am heading back to my home town of Melbourne soon. I have a white 1983 Turbo II which I would really like to take with me. I already have the import approval but apparently the car also needs to be inspected by an engineer who can certify...
