i know exactly how you feel.....

depends what condition it is in... recaros and mags are probably worth more than the car alone.  maybe offer him what you think its worth... $4000, $5000?  worth a try.

otherwise wait another month or so and he'll still be trying to sell it and getting desperate, then start negotiating
