Unfortunately, a lot of these cars get driven around way too slowly and commonly sieze up the wastegate. Can be tricky to free up again. Pity the guy who did the turbo didn't replace the wastegate too. Maybe he did and it was a stuffed one. Good luck and give it heaps.

Re: i need info
Definately a good thing to remove! The only thing to watch is the bracket that mounts up onto the air con bracket, will need a bit of tubing to give it the same spacing. The aircon bracket is a very hefty piece of metal and it's a worthwhile job just to remove that! ;D Should notice a bit quicker r...

Re: boo hoo t2 going
Oh bummer! Have seen the car a few times, including the odd visit around my place! Tempted to buy it myself, but selling my house and will need to find room for the not yet completed T3, so don't think I can. :-/ Haven't had a drive, but liked the extra toys in it. Take care in the UK then, Pete 8)

Yo Dude, I'll be watching with interest eh! Still plan to get Turbo Tech to re-valve and use heavier oil in the std ones. May be a pain to work on and may end up looking for exactly the same thing. Had a quick look a while back and turned up nothing! :-/ Well done on your mission!! Have adjustable ...

Yeah, that would explain why I had problems connecting. Got a bit sidetracked with girlfriend, grasskart, kids, band, fixing computers and trying to relax a bit, but I'm keen to see it running again! ;D

Re: LPG TURBO CIVIC
You Kam, Hey great work there! The boss at Turbo Tech who did all the work on my car, develpoed a fuel injection system for LPG in the late 80s. Was going to produce it commerially for a bus company. They supplied finance and later pulled out due to some legality. Left Phil to pay back the money to ...

Re: Battery placement
Did a high current sealed gel-cell on mine. No hassles with venting or even mounting upright for that matter. :)
Put it behind the seat and was going to run it on it's side but now using upright. Could end up being cheaper than sealed boxes, vents and whatever else it needs for certing! ;D

Re: Clutch help??
Hi Turbomini, The struts need to be separated from the bottom suspension arm and swaybar, then you should just be able to pull the driveshafts out. Couldn't find a heavy clutch when I was looking so got a place in Auckland to do a Kevlar bonded plate. Not too expensive but need to machine the flywhe...

Re: A Challenge has been Made!!
If my current T2was running well, I'd take him on now!
Need new clutch as it's slipping a bit much and some new spark plugs would help heaps. The T3 would put him in his place though! Get him to do the power to weight maths. Don't think he could match 200HP @ 750Kg! ;)

Re: Could a T1 Ever beat a Toyota Celica GT - four
Yo all, The GT4 issue was the very reason I decided to work my City. Took one for a decent blat and was bitterly disappointed! >:( Was going to buy one but thought that with the difference in cost from selling mine, I may as well put some of that money back into the City. They feel really heavy and...

Yo Jacko, Welcome along. Good to see Boostboy's machine is back with us! The air from the guard is a good idea but not as high pressure as behind the lights. But then that gets too hot if you stop moving. Best idea - duct from behind the lights, remove headlamp and don't stop for ANYTHING! ;D Cheer...

Re: A&G Holdings in NZ (City gaskets)
Got mine recently from Supercheap made by NZ Gaskets.
Had a previous post with part numbers. Was pretty cheap - around $150 for a complete head set. Turned out to be a T1 set but didn't need to use the smaller T1 bits! ;D
I'll try to find previous post for ya.
