Re: WTB - T1 Front Bumper

Hi Folks, I'm after a 'spare' T1 front bumper for my slowly progressing T1 race car. I need to modify it (cut holes etc) to fit the front mount intercooler and oil cooler. So if it is a bit beaten up, that should be OK. I'm in Sydney, but will consider anywhere in Oz if the price is reasonable. Is ...

A fuel injection conversion of a carby engine would be a pretty big mission. Running a City Turbo motor with aftermarket management is also a big mission, im not sure if anyone has really got it working properly before, though a few have had some success. Have a read through this site, pretty much ...

Remember to use a City Turbo motor you have to convert to fuel injection. There is info on this site about the NA->Turbo conversion.

I have a programable engine management computer which would come in handy.

I see you have some prior experience 8) Crank swapping with the ER isnt really an option because they run a massively long stroke anyway. Stroking it further wont help you. If you could do anything it would be bore the cylinders and run oversize pistons, but the wall thickness isnt huge on an ER bl...

1985 Honda City ProT (non turbo) For Sale or Parts sale.

Gday guys and girls. I’m selling my first Honda City as now I have my Lime colour one which I'm happy with. I will post pics, but its red and the chassis is quite good and other exterior parts. It’s a little rough but it would make a great parts car or something to do up. Bumpers, lights, brakes, ge...

Oh dear. Changing the crank shaft WILL increase the engine capacity. It will also change your compression ratio and put your pistons into the head if you dont change the rods and or pistons as well. Swapping heads is not an option. Give up on the idea already. Swapping engine internals is also not ...

ClassicProT wrote:Yeah, the EB1 blocks range from 1972-1975. It would be hard to find a good one.

The EB2/3 run a 72mm bore (same as the EN).

I guess either a rebuild or engine swap are the options here :?

Im kind of surprised Honda dont have a multi valve head compatible with the ER

Bore spacing is the other obvious issue

ClassicProT wrote:I think the honda city ER engine is the only engine that runs a 66mm bore. The next size up is an EB1 which has a 70mm bore

Boring out 4mm to 70mm should be ok i think?
The issue is the bolt pattern and over all size of the head compared to the block.

The City and Civic engines look so similar. I wonder if the 1.3 crank will fit in the City engine? Or 1.5l crank?

Nice job it looks so factory.
