Mine have just been replaced with Suzuki rings, minimal work required on the ring grooves (the oil ring fits) and they are suitable for turbo engines. ProT rings are made from chrome moly steel and not suitable for use with turbos

Take the guard off, it's fairly simple, just need to be aware that there is body sealant along the top edge (on the bonnet line) Side light unplugs behind the left headlight, plugs are opposite so can't mix them up.

They all have the same stroke and are all ERs so I would think even a ProT one would do the job! where are you located?

I checked the ProT today and there is nowhere there to fit a tacho cable and the distributor/thermostat housing doesn't look like it could be swapped for the housing from a T11. The mystery deepens!

The only Cab that I have seen had the N/a combax motor in it (12 valve head) as is in the City E which also has a tacho. the housing that holds the distributor is different and has the tacho drive attached to it. The ProT has a different head (8 valve) Is that the standard motor for the Cab?

I seen one a few days ago, it was cable drive from a housing on the end of the head, it's a different head so won't work on the ProT. Think you will have to go for an aftermarket electronic unit.

Thanks Hyper, a couple more photos from different angles would be beaut, I'm mainly interested in the sideskirts. The bumper extension would make it easier to bottom out and damage other bits, I have touched mine down a couple of times as is. Sorry Bigelboe but I'm with Hyper on this one, no point i...

Thanks Hyper, that is the one I was looking for and the contrasting colour makes it easier to see the shape. Now all I need is some spare time and some inspiration. Need to get back on the road first!!

Fuel pressure regulators are only used on injected cars so other citys won't have them.

Thanks Hyper, That white one is a bit over the top for a senior citizen, there is another white one similar in style to the red one that I was looking for. It's a bit hard to see the detail on the red picture. I want the one with the standard guards.

They are all the same (citys that is) window people should be able to reseal the windscreen, I bought door glass channels from the rubber store, main door seals will probably need to be a Honda part to fit properly.
