Re: Vacuum advance
There is a thread about getting them reconditioned on here somewhere, through a mob somewhere on the east coast of Aus (Brisbane i think?). Otherwise with a bit of luck, there is another honda part which is almost exactly the same, just need to re-jigger the arm from the diaphragms to fit (city ones...

Re: PERTH GUMTREE
If i had a good condition turbo one, i would consider it. but not worth taking a ProT across
Yeah, white one will be for sale early next year/ when i get around to selling it (currently trying to sell off skyline).
Would be less than 1k, didn't pay much for it anyway.

Re: PERTH GUMTREE
For a second there i thought you were talking about my white City, but then i'm not a pair of Asians :P I've seen a red one and a line green one a couple of times SOR, both Pro Ts though. Didn't end up taking Caleb's T2, it needs a touch of fixing here and there and i don't have the time for it (tec...

Re: PERTH GUMTREE
You never know, might have been the plan to price it that high so when someone offers 2k they can still walk away with a profit. Yeah, i sold my black T1, told the guy who bought it about these forums as well. Within 3 days the guy who bought mine did a whole paint job of blue with white highlights/...

Re: Valve dimensions
Grab the shop manual from here
Look for the one that ends in 60PD100 and jump to about page 96 or so. has measurements for valves/ ports.

Re: T2 Cabriolet
Well, i'll assume the engine is the same layout as a standard T2. If compression is good, that is a good start, the engine should be fine and i would be pointing towards boost issues. Does it make any odd noises when you push it hard? like whistling or whooshing air? do you have a boost gauge (prett...

Re: T2 Cabriolet
Any chance of some more info about the problem? has it been losing power for a while or has it just suddenly happened? Does it have a boost gauge? is it making boost at all? does it just feel very slow or does it cough and splutter? Not sure about factory T2 cabrios, but that is not relevant to your...

@.@
Didn't realise your collection was that... expansive... Sad to see you have to get rid of it, but i guess you have other projects anyway
Would be tempting to get the T2, but i can't fit all the extras...
