I got off lucky with it I caught it early. As to the difference? well ...

Extra oil to the #4 Cam lobe?
Hi
Is there a way to get extra oil to the number 4 cam lobes? So they wear at the same rate as the rest of the lobes?
Cheers

Re: Interchangeablity of T1 and T2 Components
I was reading Froggers profile and in the magizine article it said that the T1 and T2 computers were different. Has someone acutally used a T1 computer with a T2? Just for confirmation that they are the same.

Re: Get Rid of Emmissions Tubing + Box?
Boost control wasit? Hmm when i changed my T2 turbo to a T1 ,the T2 wastegate had a vacum pipe attached to it. i just left this detached, I put a screw in the end of it, and the car seemed to run fine. I just got all my boost about 1000rpm lower. I wonder what it does?

Re: Get Rid of Emmissions Tubing + Box?
Arent NZ motors so much better! Pity they didn't make the City T2 version in NZ. What I will do is get the motor going again and in the car. and then I might possibly attach some vicegrips to one tube at a time and see what effect it has. Edit: I acutally have a spare T1 Black box so I will pull tha...

Re: Get Rid of Emmissions Tubing + Box?
Thanks for that Colza
There has to be emissions stuff in the box as all japanese cars have to have it dont they?
If they were made in NZ then they wouldn't have all that stuff so it must be possible to take some of it out.
