heh... /me looks ashamed..... The most immediate problem was that  the BOV vacuum feed had split.  Ran a lot nicer when fixed :) Pretty sure the scale of the gauge is hundred kpa's ( 100 kpa kpa is 14ish psi is about 1 atmosphere right?) for both boost and vacuum. Vacuum was running at -20 kpa  but ...

It hunts when warm, probably 600-1200 rpms, 1 second going up, and another going down.

I've definately lost a few pounds vacuum since I've had the work done (only noticed today.. doh!)   I'll have a feel around and see if I can find the leak.

I've upgraded from a city turbo pro t (same year - 83), but the new car is a hell of a lot more fun  :)   I've got my eye out for an Idle Control Valve (the same one that Andy mentioned in the For Sale/Wanted board).  If anybody's got any suggestion...
