Stolen T1 from Riccarton

My blue honda city turbo 1 1983 was stolen from the Westfield Riccarton top level car park two rows from the doors on February 7th 2012. They said there was nothing useful from the cameras, couldnt even tell me how they got in. It was my first car which i have had for three years. It had white wheel...

They share the same fuse and i did try putting some new ones in which didnt help.

There was electricity going to both motors so i swapped them with some spares and now working fine, although there is some gunk clogging the lines now.

Cheers

Cheers bmgjet. The thing is if its a break at the stalk and everything else was fine, there would be a break also in the rear window sprayer button. I will definitely check but i find it hard to believe both have broken at the same time

Hi everyone, just bought a cabriolet with T2 conversion, sight unseen. Was told he had tried to fire up the car but it wouldn't sart, probably due to stale petrol, but it had been "driven into the shed about 18 months ago" so was being sold as a runner.....HA! Got it home and threw new bat...

the cats arent too bad to get off. its a bit tricky to take it out because i left the bracket in (waay too much hassle to take that out with the cat still in for me) the O2 sensor is very hard to get at because of the heat shields around the cat. i dropped the cat as low as it would go with the sens...

Ok thanks for that! What about removing the ribbed piping and fabricating a divider inside the bigger replacement rejoining later down the exhaust?

Yeah i have read up about the wastegate enlargement required, but also thinking about getting the turbo seals redone while i have the turbo out.

Exhaust Piping off the Turbo

I have taken off my exhaust and the turbo is soon to follow. I have heard that Pete's Customs here in Christchurch is a good place to get a full exhaust fitted. Is there any way to change the wastegate gases into re joining further down the exhaust line? And the ribbed pipe coming straight off the t...
