I'd think a gt28 would be way too big for the city. keep in mind it is only 1.2L and they have a pretty low redline, so you dont want bucket loads of lag. After screwing around and going to repco a few times with them making a few calls, I finally got the same info as turbocab. They dont sell them in Australia because they contain asbestos, so they shipped them over to NZ instead. They apparently no longer make them now too. So Bigelboe do you think ...

It sounds like your main relay thats playing up. Mine was doing this to me ages ago and it just turned out to be a dry joint, soldered it back up and its been fine ever since.
