Nothing on manifolds and probably wont be for a while, have to get the car on the road first and im having a mare of a time trying to get up there to work on it. Hopefully get the engine bay painted next weekend and then ...

Heres some shit pictures of this weekends work just cos i feel this thread needs an update. Engine tidying up. New gaskets and seals all through and a thorough degreasing! Unfortunately no 'before' pics, but trust me, it was a mess ;)) http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r217/Colza85/City%20Turbo/Ima...

Mmm, not an expert, I am moderately qualified though  .

Anyway, doesnt bother me, you can put whatever springs you like in your car. Ill be happy to put King springs in mine if they come in the right size and length at a good price.

I have had a couple of sets of King springs in my Integra and I think they are excellent. I have no idea where the "king springs are crap" thing has come from, I have never heard anyone who actually owns a set complain about them. And besides, a linear 600lb spring is just that, linear and...

I still dont get this obsession with 150mm long springs. You have so much shock body length to play with why not go for 180mm springs and not have to risk bottoming them out after only 70-80mm of compression. King part numbers KPS-105-X5K, KPS-106-X5K, KPS-107-X5K, KPS-108-X5K, KPS-109-X5K cover the...

Snot a metal gasket. B-series ones are like 3 sheets of thin steel riveted together.

Ive seen city motors with gaskets like that in them before. Usually get pasted to both the head and the block and you spend hours trying to scrape all the shit off.

As far as my understanding goes you cannot wear a harness on the street. The card may allow you to have a harness in the vehicle, but if you are driving on the road you have to wear a seatbelt.

Is this going to be street driven or is it race only?

I very much hope they are quality repairs. If i have to redo any of them i will be mighty unimpressed. The plans for the car are daily driver and weekend motorsport. Stripped interior, Bigelboe suspension. Engine work will include turbo upgrade, custom intake and exhaust manifolds, and a decent inte...

I agree that splitting up into a few new forums would be good, however we do have to be careful not too make too many. We dont want 20 sections with 5 threads each. I think just: General Tech Build threads For Sale Infobase/wiki Thats only 2 new sections over what we have now but i think it would ma...
