I was just wondering if anyone knows what year CRX the seats are that are shown in the "Honda-lunatics from The Netherlands" topic. Im keeping a look out for new seats and those look REALLY nice!
Also, what sort of seats are everyone else using?

Re: Heavy duty clutch?
I had always thought that the cam arrangement was so that it kicked back as you engaged so you can change faster...
My city hasnt really been driven yet, but I like the arrangement at the moment. Maybe I will get sick of it, we shall see.

Re: Mufflers/exhaust systems.
Folding up a cone from sheet steel will be the cheapest. Just draw out a net for it, cut it out, shape it round something (wooden cone perhaps?) weld it up at the other end. Bit of practice should see you right. I supose you could go on a trip down to the nearest fabrication place and get them to we...

Re: Workshop manual
I am in the process of getting on from Honda Japan via some Japanese aquaintances of mine, but I think it is turning out to be a fairly expensive process. Honda NZ was most amazingly UN-helpful when I contacted them, but I suppose you can try. Other than that I think you are highly unlikely to get o...

Any T2 parts around?
I think I'm bein fairly optimistic here, but I'm looking for anything anyones got lyin' around out of a '84 T2 engine. Mine is absolutely rooted, its done 380 000kms and as most bits seem to be shot, I'm interested in ANYTHING.
There we go, fingers crossed :-/

Re: Corroding water injection system
Very nicely done I must say! My friend just showed me the throttle body on his dads 4.0L V6 Fairmont, it is HUGE!!! Something like 3 inch with a cruise control solenoid :D If i can make that fit with the CVCC still working I will be a very very happy!!! Isnt Ally welding phenomenally 'spensive? or d...

Re: Mufflers/exhaust systems.
The other option of course being to make a muffler....anyone tried THAT before? Bit of 7 inch stainless pipe, bit of 3 inch perforated, few circles and a load of fiberglass and stainless steel wool. Do-able? ? ? Sounds fun at least

Mufflers/exhaust systems.
I am doing some serious thinking about what sort of exhaust my T2 engine will be getting as soon as i can find some $$$ and I was wondering what other forum people are using. Currently I am thinking a dump pipe rather like TURBO3 's but going into 3 inch the whole way down. Single straight through m...

Re: Corroding water injection system
Now THAT, is cool !!!! 8) Dare i ask where your throttle has been relocated too? is that it on the far side of your injectors? How long did it take to get that fabricated and looking oh so shiny? Your intake air certainly does alot of travelling! Is there and intercooler plumbed into that somewhere ...

Re: Corroding water injection system
Im not really sure how the engine runs with a load on it, certainly not on boost. The most this has ever really done is a short (3m) trip to the pit and back. That and the occasional lap round the garden. Then again, we did manage to get it boosting in 1st round the back yard, that was back in the d...

Re: CityTurbo.com stickers
I personally like the lettering in the top one with the TURBO in turbo lettering and the rest in CITY lettering. I agree with TURBO3 about dropping the car and the turbo in the background is cool but could be more central. Definately a more neutral background: I like the stripyness, but that yellow ...

Re: Corroding water injection system
Hahaha, NO BOOST! ;D Well, currently the city is a rusting partly stripped pile of junk sitting at round the back of my mates garage slowly filling up with water. The engine however, is being worked on and hopefully will be running beautifully in a few weeks time to be dropped into my '80 Civic. The...

Corroding water injection system
I have just completed a water injection system for my T2 and sadly it is already starting to rust. I thought I had managed to use only alluminium parts, but 2 of the threaded parts have revealed themselves to be plated steel. On one of these, the plating has failed and it is rusting (I am also conce...
