Re: turbo timer wiring
if you think you have the ignition lines wired correctly and the TT still won't go.. remember that some have a handbrake safety.. THis line must either be hooked to the handbrake signal or taken to V_bat or GND depending on model... some have handbrake and another switch so there may need to be 2 w...

Re: New parts found on my city
Brakes that throw you through the front window don't sound like standard T2 brakes.. well none of my City turbo's have had brakes anything near that good..

Re: FCD-Boost controller-Extra Injector Controller
Hey there, This is a great idea. It's beena while since I've been here, but that engine monitor / data logger I was making is half way there. I have made 5 boards, but am yet to finish putting components on a single one. it's been pretty busy at home and at work. Maybe this will be usefull in conju...

That was Chupa in my old City T1 he'd just got his intercooler / BOV mods, so it should have run pretty well.. I'm keen to find out just how well.

Re: 4E-FTE Starlet engine
F5A's are crap go the newer motor. other option is a CB70 (I think) twin cam version of the Charade Turbo. The CB60 is the carby turbo CB70 has much more respectable power, and much more modern motor (harder to get though) in my opinion stick with Honda City turbo motor, or just buy a different car....

pouring the oil back in isn't quite that simple. it took me about 5 or 6 cycles using a small RC car squirt bottle

Re: 4E-FTE Starlet engine
yes they are FWD, though they're a bit bigger than the city turbo engine. THey're 1.3L and twin cam so wider already, also have crossflow head (intake and exhaust on opposite sides, so it may be too wide for the city engine bay. Maybe consider Suzuki Cuppacino 660cc turbo motor, quite quick so I ha...

Re: Installed Cooler and BOV
from what I recall.. the car hunts even when cold.. it has an unusually high rpm warmup routine.. and even in this routine it will hunt occasionally. I reackon it's the idle control solenoid with stuffed internals.. new from Japan is good but don't think you'll have much luck. I reackon wreckers is...
