FS:- NA head gasket kit

Yeah i bought this for my city turbo but i'm now currently lookin at doin a EL or EK convertion!!! Asking $100 for it as it is unopened and it cost $130. I'm in Brisbane, Ipswich MATTY

Hey Matt.  Sorry to rain on your parade buddy, but only the head gasket for this kit is of any use for the turbo version of the city.  The head gasket can be used but the other parts of the NA kit like manifold gaskets and valve stem seals and the like can only be used on the NA version.  You'd be best selling it to someone with a NA city.

Hey Matty.  After raining on your parade, it turns out that I need a head gasket for my T1.  I don't need the rest of the kit but I thought I might buy it off you anyway if its still for sale.  Let me know if you still have it.  You can leave me a message on this site if you like.  P.S. Yeah sorry it was FS but i've just recently decided to use the rest of that motor by buying another block?? No turning back now as i just order my forgie's today!!! Sorry MATTY

crooky if ur after a head gasket go down to your local parts store

Bullshit.  Really??  The parts shops in my area, Canberra are quoting up around $200 and that's just for the gasket not the VRS kit (Repco, Honda, and ISP).  They each say that the old part has been superseded with a more expensive one.  Surely 3 different shops couldn't be yanking my chain.  Ended up getting the turbo one from N.Z. for about $70 incl freight.
