Youll have to get some form of customised disc at the rear, nothing had 4*120 rear disc brakes.

I have all the parts at home to do a rear disc swap but I havnt done it yet. There isn't any point except for the looks. They are heavier and you can get all the rear braking you need just from better shoes.

Hey civic, i checked when i picked up my new disc's :D and yep no listing for the 76 only the later 78 onwards. The disc's were $149 still but that wont help you now.
If you can get from bigelboe all the parts info you will need to do a conversion we can still do it for you but without guru's info on civic's it makes it hard.

You sure it was 78 and not 1979.8? Late in 79 civics changed to 2nd generation. Im guessing that either DBA have stuffed up the years or something like that. Becuase Im 90% sure brakes were the same for EB2 and EB3

Nothing on your car should be chromed apart from the front and rear bumpers and possibly a wing mirror. You risk being shot on sight by anyone with taste if you chrome your drums.

And plus they wont cool as easilly.
