Hey all, i'm after atleast 1 cvcc rocker and 2 of the in/ex rockers. Must be in pretty good condition with no grooves or excess wear. Cam is off being rebuilt/reground so will need them asap if anyone can help. Will buy the whole rocker assembly if its cheap enough.
I'm in brisbane.
Cheers fellas,
Simon

Re: WTB: rockers
I had my rocker arms reground, was concerned that we may have gone through the hardening but no sign of excess wear so far
Re: WTB: rockers
You can use city PRO int & exh rockers as they are the same ;D MATTY
Re: WTB: rockers
at $50 per rocker to have them reground, i dont think i'll be doing that. its mainly just the rockers for cyl 4 that need some attention, but if i can get second hand ones in good condition then that would be awesome. so do any of you have any for sale?

$50!
I got quoted $15 per rocker over here in NZ, What I did with my rockers was to get some T1 ones, I was told to polish the rockers up, as that helped them last. Don't know if it was true but it didn't take much work.

I obviously got a good deal on re-grinding mine, did all 12 in about 10 minutes for nix, had to shine them up on a stone myself when I got home. If you are having the camshaft done you should polish any small marks out of the other rocker arms, doesn't make sense to run any roughies on a new camshaft.
Re: WTB: rockers
i was planning on polishing the others, but theres a few that are a bit too stuffed, didnt quite catch what he said to use though. so what should be used for polishing them? (i should pay more attention )

You can take any minor scratches out with a sharpening stone (like you use to sharpen a chisel ) Work from coarse to fine and be sure to use rotating motion as you cross the stone to retain the original shape. (this means you will need to raise and lower the adjusting end as you do it) think about that one for a bit before you start. Hope you numbered them so that you get them back in the same places!
