Extra Comments

Bought this car earlier this year and had it transported from Brisbane. The plates were removed and rego was canceled before it was transported down.

Basically when i picked it up it had a blown headgasket, was missing a lot of parts and had a rust on and under various panels, as well as some damage in the engine bay.

Basically havent driven this car at all but the previous owner has said the gearbox and everything about the car is fine. Also has had its head professionally reconditioned recently by the previous owner. It was found that the block had a worn waterpump housing, which i presume caused the headgasket failure, i acquired another block but that has been reported as no good by a high performance machinest. Basically i have owned this for 8 months and in that time i have stripped down the car, removed all major rust, fixed engine bay damage with a new 1/4 cut, acquired all missing parts for interior and exterior. Basically this car is not for some non wrenching pussy, i unfortunately will be going interstate a fair bit and i am generally burnt out when it comes to cars, so even though all you have to do is get a good block, i just cbf. I am losing thousands of dollars and heaps of time invested in this car.

In summary,
The good:
* gearbox reportedly good
* turbo is good
* head recently rebuilt
* all major rust removed
* all parts are there
* bunch of spares too (spare damaged head,some lights and interior parts etc)
* sound deadening was removed
* engine mounts filled with 55a urethane
* going dead cheap
The bad:
* needs a decent block, i know where you could acquire one or even can use an NA block with the turbo internals (in which i have two sets of). But in general blocks are cheap.
* Has runs in the paint in various places, you could just sand them out and polish them up to make the car look reasonable, i was planning a full respray after i got it on the road.
* Some over spray needs to be cleaned off (easy enough)
* Havent bolted down some of the panels and interior fully (easy again)
*one of the locks was bad, so i have a full spare set with key, just not installed
* has some typical minor dents.. no major damage though
* Paint is average, needs a good cut and polish at least.
