Head gasket set ?

Can anyone tell me where I can get a head gasket set for my 84 city t2? failed wof for exhaust smoke but i dont want to pull it apart until i know i can get parts.

You sure its not the turbo smoking.

It possibly is the turbo, but I want to do the head and the turbo in one go, the clutch is toast as well so i'm taking the engine out and doing it all in one hit, IF i can get the bits.

They are availble but very dear.

Most honda agents should be able to get you one?

I got part number comparos from parts dealers such as BTM..in Dunedin anyway

They get the part number for the actual h/gasket itself from a part list look it up for new pt replacement numbers and say the new takeoff Honda city has the same head gasket and you can buy it by itself.

Your turbo is more than likely poked if it is smoking? Can you get the intake pipe off and wiggle the rotor for play?

Is there oil in the water /cooling system?

engine is out and turbo is off, valve regrind set ( everything from the head gasket up ) was about $150 from Segedins, turbo is pretty sweet for its age but i''m getting bearings and seals done anyway. Head off this weekend and off to get hot tank cleaned.
