I'm not sure if it is just me, but those links don't work. (maybe use something better than instagram :P )

Might be better to start another thread in general about car issues and discussion than in the for sale section.
But since i'm here, bubbles in coolant would point towards head gasket, you should still be able to buy them retail (search forum for details, cost is something like 200-250 i believe). As for vac leak, check/ replace the rubber hoses that are everywhere. Again, there are some threads on here about dealing with vac leaks/ hunting revs.

Depending on how things go i may have a VRS gasket set for sale soon.

so you think head gasket issue .. was really hoping signs didnt point to this
any chance could be a vac leak near the turbo and firewall?
is there a line of antifreeze that runs near the PGI-FM .. maybe hear a hiss there...

yeah just time consuming since i already paid $142 radiator spec to replace a $12 hose.. so might go back to
him and say he didnt fix the problem and see if he will give me hour or two labour free. or fix what he missed.

any other information you could help me with!? and experts in NZ?!
or a translated workshop manual?!

Nice looking car, though as mentioned, i'd worry about parking it there :P

There are a few coolant lines which run through the manifold and around to the back of the throttle body (the PGM-FI part) which are for the cold start mechanism. They could easily be leaking (mine were), there is a write up from a guy on how to clean those lines, it will give you an idea of what/ where i'm talking about.

I'd say look into the problems a bit more, might be something simple, at which point you have a great little City.

hey crispy
took off all those was a leak in the auto choke hose but think my head gasket f*****:(
any chance you could part with the VRS-e5 gasket set ?!?
went to try find one and for whole set of engine gaskets inc all top end and bottom and bearings was 900$$

and im a uni student and work part time

at least got the leak fixed for 170 and put a temporary Rislone gasket sealant into the radiator so hoping for the best?!

i read the thread will have to do that when i have a day off to take it all off
but thanks for the link! great description!
