I sent in a question to see what their thoughts were, not sure of the truth behind what they told me. Basically they said that over the years the diff in the city has remained the same so that the same diff can fit in a city from any era. I'm a bit skeptical on it, not sure if I want to invest into it atm. Still interesting though

Not a chance. Considering the city morphed into the jazz, and the current 2014 city (sedan) is a brand new car. Yeah no.
