City turbo II $2000

well.....my friend got a T2 forsale....
however, the car got a blown head gasket....
all in need is a head gasket set....
head has been taken out and machined......
car is white...
no rust.....straight body....
all standard feature except for the speedo changed to analog meter....
car is in Melbourne....
and he wants $2000 for it...........
2-3 months rego left....

is that 2500 with or without the head gasket replaced, has the head been crack and pressure tested, where in melbs is it, how many ks etc etc

it just need a new head gasket set....
ks....can't remeber...will check out this weekend... busy with exam at the moment...hopefully will take some photos too...

I think i'll give it a miss for the simple fact that ive already got one in bits at the moment and ive had four of them already!

Everyone, I inspected this car on the weekend and i can say that it is a bargain.  All it needs is a headgasket which can be purchased from any honda dealer and a manifold gasket which you could get from NZ or make one up yourself.  The turbo is in excellent condition, the body is very straight and the interior is close to immaculate.

I have a 1976 honda civic in good condition. I should be able to sell it for around $3000 with all the parts i have for it. ( 45mm DCOE webber, 4-2-1 extractors , 4-1 extractors, exhaust, many interior mods,)

when does the rego end on your city turbo.

and would the vehicle be suitable for a motor transplant into a civic?? or would i be better off with a front cut

From what i remember the reg is till october.  Would be very suitable as a transplant car.  You could sell off the rest of the car as parts very easily.

I'll buy the front gaurds and bonnet!
