Red stripe reconditioning
Hey just wondering if anyone could let me know what material the red stripe that goes around the turbo 1 (and other cities) is and how I would go about reconditioning it? Also the "Turbo" writing in red on the side of the car. Cheers

Here's a photo that should help

What I'm talking about is the red strip in the door strip. It turns to white on my front/rear bumpers where it's normally red

It's just red vinyl. I recently replaced mine on my T1. I first ordered some from Ebay ( china ) but it was horrible transparent rubbish...local vinyl sticker shop had uv protected stuff.

Sweet thanks man
Re: Red stripe reconditioning
Vinyl on the bumpers only of course...the sides & Turbo lettering are red molded plastic. I removed one of the door pieces to check it out...wasn't easy to find replacement clips to re-attach it! Anyways not sure how to go about restoring the red... can see mines quite faded.

I was thinking of masking it up all on the car, repainting the black then prolly re-masking it all & spraying the red. It's currently on the To Do list...
