Need moderators

Hi all and happy new year!

A few of the moderators have retired recently and there seems to be a few spammers getting through our registration systems. Are there any regular posters here who would like to become a mod? All you need to do is delete the odd spam message and move posts that have been submitted to the incorrect area.

I could be up for that but if you need a consistant user then maybe im not the one for this role. I would have thought ANTHRAXXX would have put his hand up for this.

I can. Delete spam message, then delete spam users... For registration new user, need request from email, if users registrations without request we have many spam...

Hi Brendan,

We need something much better to filter out the spamming of late. I must've deleted 50 posts in the last fortnight, and it's worse now.

Can we have a minimum post requirement, or ANYTHING that will stop bots from posting??

Hi guys, I've made a few changes this morning and cleaned up the latest round of spam. I'll check in more regularly to see how the changes went.

Well that didn't work. I've implemented another solution. Lets see how that goes.
