Colza was being serious, if you want to know the advantages and disadvantages of a NOS setup in a city turbo talk to Pete (Turbo3).

Yeah you are going to need to do some serious(!!!) work to get a city into the 12s. First if you want NOS your gonna have to get some forged pistons in there with some nice rings in a nicely honed cylinder with toight wall clearences im not sure whether the stock rods will take NOS turbo 3 might be able to help you there. Your also prolly going to want to unshroud the valves a bit, mainly on the exhaust side, have a 3 angle job done on them and generally have a bit of an open out of the intake side to get the air youll need in there, and a smoothen and a little opening of the exhaust to help it flow it all out again.
You'll probly want a custom exhaust manifold with equal length runners to help flow enough exhaust and to make it drive well off NOS, also a bigger turbine housing and an uprated compressor will be handy in  reducing restriction at high revs and getting some power out of the sucker off NOS.
Your also gonna need someway of either locking your diff or getting an LSD in there cause you will have great troubles even pulling a 13 with an open diff. To do a 12.9 your gonna need about 200ish Hp at the flywheel its very doable with NOS but your gonna have to be willing to put in the hours and your gonna run into the age old problems that everyone faces of getting more fuel into the engine in the right amounts without forgetting about the CVCC.
Im not trying to discourage you, just giving you an indication of what your going to have to do to get to your goal. Its acheivable with doing this stuff and then just having a well sorted turbo, youll prolly have to spend less time on that if your running NOS and more time on sorting out your diff and your suspension and grip, anyway what ever you do to your turb civ good luck cause turbo civics kick ass!

any corrections to my spleen are welcome ;D

I think there may be some creative rounding in there.

City = approx 800 mayby 850 for T2
2G civic = 800
1G civic = 680

Im not sure if the weights of the blocks would play a big part, but the civic weight is with iron block, city = alloy but with lots of extra bits.

Id say a 200kg difference would be achievable with lighteneing, but civics are about as light as they can get anyway. As soon as you put big shiny mags on you will be back where you started anyway!

Vehicle weight for a T2 is 735kg taken from specs site.
