There may be subtle differences but basically:

headers = extractors = exhaust manifold

Intake manifold is the alloy bit where your intake air gets to the engine. Attatched to your engine, s'got your injectors in it and a throttle on the other end :)

I was told extractors are for N/A cars, they are designed to suck air out and flow better than normal headers, but a turbo has no use for them because it's all getting pushed along from the turbo...

this is the way i know it:

Extractors are fabricated from pipe,
headers are are sorta mass produced extractors (cast pipe shape?),
and manifolds are cast metal.

In the US, headers are exhaust manifolds that are constructed from tubing for the purpose of flowing better, whether it be for high end or low end power.  Headers are not used on turbo cars (this is how everybody I know has always specified things... in the U.S. anyway).

Exhaust manifolds are the cast units that come from the factory.  The piece used on turbo cars is referred to as a turbo manifold, whether cast, or tube.

I'd say extractors = headers.  Because in the U.S. "cast header" is an oxymoron.

What was the peak power? Can you post the graphs up? ive never seen a city dyno sheet before :) could be interesting. Just run more boost, its a good excuse for running it a bit rich ;)

Just a question but if the tuners had done such a "sweet job" then why is it running "way to rich" when you gave it to them to tune?

so what computer are you going to be putting in? are you going to keep running cvcc??

and you're almost doubling your power just from putting in a new cooler and a computer huh? no other mods needed for that?

I think that may have a been a fairly optimistic estimation. Intercoolers arent exactly a bolt on double in power. Considering Turbo3 is the only person here who will be getting anywhere near that and his car is reasonably 'lightly modified' ;)
