Has anyone fitted a 5 speed from an en1 to a t2?
does the flywheel ,clutch , starter motor etc need changing ?
The reason for the swap is that I am after a lower final drive .
I have fitted the en box to a t1 without any mods but have heard that the t2 flywheel /clutch assembly may not fit inside the en bellhousing and yes I have searched ...
T2 gearbox swap
Re: T2 gearbox swap
Does it bolt straight onto the T1? If so then use a T1 flywheel and clutch. Not sure about starter motors...
Re: T2 gearbox swap
The gear-change has adaptability.
They might attach if it matches and it devises it because it is a position of
the pin.
It examines in detail and it answers. Please wait for a while. ;)

Re: T2 gearbox swap
The acceptable table of the engine and the transmission was prepared. :)

The position of the pin might be not suitable for the combination excluding this.
I think that it can use the starter maybe.
It is glad when cooperating in here... ;)
