Suspenion mods

 Just brought my first Honda City Turbo S2, and want  to know what suspenion mods can be done.
 Reason I ask this is its running on 14' mags and when theres people in it  the back it rubs on the guards, the tyres are 195/60, I'll change to 185's when funds premit.
 Also is there any easy brake upgrades.

You dont need to go for thinner tyres, you want as much width as possible. Just go for something a little lower profile like a 195/55 or a 195/50. There really isnt much you can do easilly suspension wise. You could talk to a suspension specialist about getting some lower/firmer springs made but there are no aftermarket parts available. There is a brake upgrade but i dont know of anyone who has tried it yet, a bit of searching should turn up the relevant post on this forum.

I posted up links to a jap site that showed them swapping brakes from an Accord I think....bit thicker, marginally bigger diameter, and larger slightly calipers...

Also i was thnking ,,,anyone considered putting a bigger
master cylinder in there?!!?

1. There were a limited number of Koni springs available (i have a set of lowered rear yellow springs out back for mine, just waiting till i can get some for the front).

2. Roll the lip on the flaired guards, that should give the clearance necessary.

Problem is, with 2 adults in the back, the car squats quite a bit. With lowered springs it's kinda worse, but with the inner lip rolled (approx 1cm sheet metal just sitting there) it's fine.

Having spent a fair amount of time trying to track down an alternate for my civic master cylinder i have all but given up. As kind as Honda were with providing brake upgrades, they were not so kind with master cylinders.

Having said that though, my standard civic master cylinder is coping fine with my EF9 CRX calipers.
