Economy ;)

I raced the FPV against my freinds 8.7 quarter wrx and it cained me off the line due to traction but the FPV pulls away in a 100k rolling run

I bought a PS2 & GT4 pack from the warehouse just to play this game.  Here's a hint though...  Don't buy the T2 straight away, you'll be incredibly disapointed and spend far too long trying to make enough money to upgrade it to a drivable state.

I did this and have wasted about 2 days on it.  If i were to start again i would probably buy the EK Civic type R in the late 90's second hand section.  You can get one of these for just under 10k and it's plenty powerful enough straight off the lot.

Once you've upgraded the suspension and tyres somewhat race the civic in the Honda civic race under the honda dealer's section, each win gives you 5k plus a 95k bonus car at the end.  Once i figured this out i was about to make about 400k in what was left of last night.  That was more than enough coin to finish off the T2 upgrades and have some fun.  I've now also completed the civic upgrades, now it's sitting on 361bhp with full drivetrain, suspension, weight reduction etc.  Also running on qualifying slicks the tyres last just long enough to get round 2 laps and provide incredible amounts of traction.  I can just about lap the field using this car on a 2 lap race.

Hey anyone know how to change the colour of the car you've bought???

I drive a bright red Honda City Pro T in real life and all I've seen so far is white, blue & grey Honda Cities in GT4.

How can you be able to upgrade your car with weight reduction, turbo, superchargers, wheels, wings but not do something as simple as changing the colour of your car???

p.s

Its an awesome game by the way ;)

Believe the hype - and get the Driving Force Pro (900 degree wheel, feedback, paddles + sequential shifter with pedals....must have)

If only they'd bring out a wheel & pedals setup with a clutch and a 5/6 speed manual box.

You can only change the colour of your car when you buy it new. Heres a hint, buy the R32 VW Golf from the tuners (all done up) and go and do the second race under special conditions. Really easy and the car you win is worth 260k if you sell it, I just do this race whenever I need money.

The Cadillac Cien is pretty quick, got mine up to 1025hp!

Best QTR to date in the City is around a 14.2 I think.

okay my best quarter time so far is with the rally peugeot 205 with a 8.274.  Mozzy apparently got a 13.7 out of the city turbo  :o
