That steering wheel is nothing! THIS is what you need -  http://www.force-dynamics.com/video/force-dynamics_301-rbr-rallyschool.wmv
;D ;D Would be awesome if they made it for GT4!

:(

I played it last night.

Awsome game, but the T2 is a disaster!!!

We did the liscence etc (with $300 logitec steering wheel) was awsome, some cars are VERY characteristic.

The T2 however, you can dump it first gear at redline and it don't even spin the wheels. Even with a stage 1 turbo and big intercooler.

T2 standard is 80kw in the game, with those mods it was 99kw and did 17 sec quarter mile :(

You HAVE to be kidding me! They stuffed up the geometry for the T2!!! It has NO guts whatsoever, which is sooo not realistic at all :(

Wierd I found that the T2 was spinning wheels all up to high end of 3rd gear, but I turn OFF TRACTION CONTROL
(which I didnt release was a option! hahaha).

but dman it doe oversteer like a drunken trooper.
But get the right and its pretty good, I yet to get all the addons but yeah seems biggest turbo seems o tbe
155hp for a turbo swap before all the extra bits....
but try it with the different gearbox, a LSDiff and the best suspension and it sticks and corners whay better..

Although its really suitd for the smaller tight tracks....
i had ago on a large fast one agaisnt GT APex Levin, Rx7 etc, and there was not a chance of keeping up....

I've so far changed wheels, put a wing on it (HAHAHA).
and suspensions and chip....suspension helps the most.
and save for the super soft race tyres....
and trick, change oil straight up mine seemed to be
brown and crappy from time I bought it.

Yeah turn off traction control and get the racing exhaust.  I put the bigger turbo on first which showed a bigger improvement power figure wise than the racing zaust, but the zaust seemed to make a bigger improvement.

I wish I'd spent some money on suspension and tyres before power though as it handles like a pig!

Take it to 1/4 mile test and post the times...

With 99kw, i couldn't break 17 seconds!!!! *Edit: kW x 1.341 = hp ie 99kw = 132.759hp

ps. slicks are $40K, let's keep things realistic, as alot of other people with their cars can actually judge 1/4 mile times to upgrades using grand turismo's sim.

pps. brendan, i was using a logitec, but i think was the model up from yours. You bolt it to the table and is all black with dpad in center not on the wheel. And they are the best wheel i have EVER used! Made the game!!

boo hoo :( i dont even have a ps2 :( i shall get one in the near future, somehow, buy, borrow, beg or steal!!

i cant believe they made the T2's unrealistic, if its true that it does 17's !! assh*les!!

but otherwise i hear its a very good game and more realistic! it is really getting to be the REAL Driving SIm!

have fun guys let us know how you get on.. do they have city cabs?

man the city turbo 2's are rocking!! wicked fun.. and also when driving VTEC cars like civic type R ;) boobAA sounds sooo real!!

i dont think the city is too slow, although i've only played arcade mode at a mates for like 30 mins :(

realistic as, i love what they've done with the cars characteristics with handling etc etc :) love it .. takes a little getting use to though!

i so gotta get it but my real cars a priority before GT4.

Okay I bought every mod possible on the honda and had it at 222kw but the best quarter I could get was a high 15... why?  It was spinning its wheels the whole 400m :D  Tried traction control, adjusted the lsd, softer tyres but it kept on spinnin!

If you want to have some fun, get a fpv typhoon and fully mod it (713kw), remove traction control, understeer/oversteer control and put economy tyres on it.  6th gear on the NOS at 250km/h with the tyres still spinning is lots o fun!!! :)

back to it...
