vacuum hoses ? any one in Melb ??

Postby branko » Thu Nov 24, 2005 6:24 pm

hi all, does anyone have a diagram of where all the vacuum hoses go ??   is there a pic in the much talked about service manual ?     is there meant to be a steel bracket which connects the gearbox to the engine block  ??   and lastly, is there a bracket which joins the catalytic converter to engine or exhaust manifold ??
i've had a good look for all this thru the boards and havent found specific answers.     any help greatly appreciated.  many thanks to the people who run this site and to regular contributors.   if anyone's got a City Turb, and lives in Melb. or visiting Melb., send me a message.  Regards, Branko

That bracket between engine and gearbox only seems to come on t1s.

there is a bracket between engine block and cat.

hey, im pretty sure in the gallery section, or through the infobase section you can access vacuum diagrams for city turbos...

i have a vacuum diagram for an NA carb'd city, which isnt available through the workhop manual if ya need. But i dont think itll be much help in a turbo'd case.

Yes boostboy!

The diagram should be under your bonnet, when you pop it up, there's the vacuum diagram underneath :)
