How close is the city turbo motor to the first gen civic motor? Besides the turbo, is there much of a difference? I'm asking because if I can ever find a city turbo II motor, and find someone willing to ship it to california, I would also need to know what parts will fit from my motor.
Thanks guys

City and Civic
Re: City and Civic
It is completely different from the EB series. It is much closer to the CVCC motors we recieved, except the crank journals and therefore the rods as well, are not useable in any of our motors, due to a larger diameter.
Thus you either need to go with an entire City Turbo setup, not cheap, or you can build a similar motor based on the USA spec CVCC short block with a CVCC or a Canadian non-CVCC head.
I am trying to work out the specifics on such a motor right now, and at the moment am researching the possibility of using the UK spec HIF44 turbo SU carb or a turbo Dellorto, which though not as reliable as EFI would be once setup, would be cheaper and maybe more user friendly if done correctly.
