Need help in urgent - rear brakes

Postby wkthyk » Thu Jan 19, 2006 5:47 pm

Hi everyone I need some help about my T2's rear brake.
Today I hear some noise from the rear brakes, I open them up and make me really sad. The pad is totally finished, drum is deeply scratched and I think it can't be machined, it is too thin. The cyclinder is stucked by sand and dust... :(
Where can I still find these parts? or do you guys have any other suggestion like converting to disc brake? I think it must be fixed asap.

Rear brakes are the same as the ProT , The wear limits are cast in the drum, wheel cylinders are readily available from brake shops.

No worries, I want to know too, as the CV joints on my cars are not good too...  now seems every part of the car goes wrong...   :'(

I've bought a couple from the local driveshaft place, about $128 fitted from memory.
