help!! the instrument binicle is not coming out!!

help!! the instrument binicle is not coming out!!

hey guys

i need to get the instrument surrounding out and it's not coming out as it should. it's that little dome part sitting on top of the dash protecting the instrument and i've undone the screws and it not coming out

HELP ITS URGENT

not quite sure why it wont come out but i will try to help.
from memory...you first undo the screws holding the black trim to the underside of the cover bit,then remove this by sliding it out one side,then there is a couple more screws on the inside i think that hold your cover bit on,then it should be free to come out.maby some tool has glued it in just to shit you >:(

Hey city_racer,

As above, 2 screws to remove the black under trim, then 3 screws to remove the top cover, then 2 on each end to remove the instrument cluster, and the speedo drive and 3 multiway wire connectors and one bullet connection.  Proabably.  The speedo cable is the most difficult to undo and even worse to put back in.

It gets easier with practice.
