Water pressure is a meaningless measure - it should be fairly constant at the setting of the radiator release valve, which flows to overflow bottle - and back into the radiator when the engine cools down. And if it is water in your cooling system your engine won't last long, should be the best of green coolant. And if you don't know where to monitor pressure you're likely to stuff up the cooling system. Engine idle is notorious for being disturbed by air bubbles in coolant.
